Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support teaching and learning in a primary schools across South Liverpool for Summer into September 2026. The successful candidate must have education-related qualifications and experience working across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
Requirements:
- Relevant education-related qualifications (HLTA status preferred)
- Experience supporting teaching and learning in KS1 and KS2
- Ability to lead lessons in the absence of a teacher
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and child development
Role & Responsibilities:
- Support teachers in planning and delivering lessons
- Lead whole-class, group, and one-to-one sessions as required
- Provide targeted interventions to support pupil progress
- Assist with assessments and classroom management
