About the Role:
We are currently working with a range of supportive and inclusive schools across Scarborough who are looking for dedicated Pastoral Pupil Support Assistants to join their teams both immediately and from September on a temp-to-perm basis.
These are highly rewarding roles where you will play a key part in supporting pupils’ emotional wellbeing, behaviour, attendance, and engagement in school life. You will act as a trusted adult, helping students overcome barriers to learning and thrive both inside and outside the classroom.

What We’re Looking For:
  • Experience working with children, young people, or vulnerable individuals
  • Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
  • A calm, patient, and resilient approach
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • A genuine passion for supporting young people to succeed
  • Backgrounds in education, youth work, care, mentoring, coaching, or support work welcomed
